Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking myself?

How do you get paid — do I have to pay you?
Travel agents are paid through commissions from hotels, airlines, and tour operators. I'll always be upfront about any fees before we get started. That is why there is a Planning fee, it takes time and dedication to do the research and pricing and that fee must be paid before I start finding locations and prices for your amazing once in a lifetime vacations.
What's the difference between planning fees and deposits?
A planning fee covers the time, research, and expertise that go into designing your destination wedding and is non‑refundable. A planning deposit is different — it is applied directly toward the cost of your vacation once you book, but is also non‑refundable if you choose not to move forward or cancel. Both protect the time and care invested in creating your personalized wedding travel experience.

Can you help if something goes wrong during my trip?
Absolutely! That's one of the biggest advantages of using a travel agent. I'm your advocate and will work to resolve any issues quickly so your trip stays on track.
How far in advance should I book my trip?
The earlier the better! I recommend booking as far in advance as possible to secure the best rates and availability, especially for popular destinations and peak travel seasons.
Deposits and Payment Options
Do I have to pay for my entire trip upfront?
No — most destination wedding packages and resort stays only require a deposit to secure your date, room, or group space. After that, you can make payments over time, allowing you to plan your dream wedding without the stress of paying everything at once.
How do deposits work?
A deposit is the amount required by the resort or travel supplier to hold your room or wedding package. This deposit goes directly toward your total vacation cost and is applied to your final balance.
Is my vacation refundable?
Deposits are non‑refundable. The vacation may be partially refundable depending on each vendor, location and the time frame. Most have a cancellation policy however I always recommend getting vacation insurance in case the unexpected happens.
